Managed Care Organizations
Dedicated Account Team / Geographic Coverage. National Account Managers and Regional Clinical Specialists serve as a dedicated account team to offer immediate response and support to your managed care organization. Account Managers, in addition to Clinical Specialists around the country, work closely with healthcare providers and members.
Customized Support. Disetronic works with your managed care organization to design and implement individualized plans that fit your needs. Among our services are: community education programs, training services for plan members, member satisfaction surveys, educational content for websites or newsletters, support of existing diabetes management programs and training for clinical case management staff. We also offer customized invoicing, payment and outcome reporting systems.
Healthcare Professionals
Training. Disetronic provides clinical guidelines and resources to healthcare professionals for therapy candidate selection, training, and follow-up. Our clinical personnel often work on-site with providers to support them in the use of pump therapy.
Plan Members
National Training Network. A national network of more than 200 contracted certified pump trainers and more than 40 certified clinical education centers are available. Trainers can assist plan members in diabetes self-management and the use of insulin pump therapy. They also work closely with referring physicians to help in implementing a care plan and supporting patients with education and follow-up. Educational materials come in multiple formats, including workbook, DVD, and an online interactive learning program.
Customer Service. Disetronic customer service assists plan members with pre-authorization and other health insurance issues. Our Patient Advocate program links plan members with experienced pump wearers who can answer their questions. We also offer a 24-hour, seven-day-a-week pump support line, where Pump Support Specialists are available around the clock.
Other Services. Plan members have access to a website for ongoing education, quarterly newsletters, educational symposiums, and more for the latest information and ongoing support.
