The ACCU-CHEK® Spirit insulin pump system is compatible with several ACCU-CHEK products to help you easily manage the data, and your diabetes.
The ACCU-CHEK Smart Pix device reader helps individuals with diabetes and healthcare professionals to view and analyze blood glucose data quickly and conveniently.
The ACCU-CHEK Smart Pix device reader is a small, but smart device which imports and displays data from ACCU-CHEK blood glucose meters, ACCU-CHEK software for handhelds, and ACCU-CHEK insulin pumps, via a built-in infrared interface.

True plug-and-play functionality
ACCU-CHEK Smart Pix device reader provides ‘state-of-the-art’ connectivity, by using industry standard connectivity (USB) and file formats (HTML, XML, BMP, PNG, etc.) and can be used on every up-to-date PC without installation of specific software. -
System requirements
IBM-compatible PC with full USB support; Microsoft Windows 2000 (Service Pack 4) or Microsoft XP; internet browser (e.g. Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.x and later, Firefox 1.x and later, Opera 8.x and later); monitor with a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels or higher; printer (preferably color) if printing of reports is desired.
ACCU-CHEK Insulin Pump Configuration Software
ACCU-CHEK Insulin Pump configuration software is the software tool for easy configuration and customization of the ACCU-CHEK Spirit insulin pump.
Both the Professional and Standard editions:
- Support the ACCU-CHEK Spirit insulin pump
- Set up and program pump parameters and are compatible with Windows® OS (Windows® 98, ME, 2000 and XP)
- Support USB connection for IR communication via a USB to Serial port adapter

- Customization of ACCU-CHEK Spirit menu (hiding selected menu items, creating your personal shortcuts)
- Personalization: User-defined Quick Info Text – name your pump or have your own name on the pump
